Zocker HP03 Pickleball Paddle

Overview

Summary

The HP03 Gen 2 is the elongated model in Zocker’s Happy series, and its biggest feature is reach. At a maximum length of about 42 cm, it gives players more distance to cover, more leverage for smashes and a larger margin for control on wide balls. For players who like to stay back and hit with a full swing, or who need extra length at the net, the shape is a clear advantage.

The face is Carbon Raw Strikelayer T700. The brand describes it as a premium carbon layer that is neither too stiff nor too soft, aiming for an ideal balance between rebound and control. Raw carbon gives direct feedback from the ball, so players can feel what is happening on each shot and adjust quickly.

Beneath the face sits the HyperCell Core, a honeycomb structure designed to optimise response and push, reduce vibration and give accuracy on every shot. The paddle’s frame uses an EdgeSoft HR-Foam edge, which softens vibration and shock when the ball hits. The brand says it also helps protect the wrist from stress, which is welcome for players with a heavy playing schedule.

The handle is a 14 cm Boxy Handle with a firm, secure shape and a grip wrap that makes it easy to switch between forehand and backhand. The paddle has a 16mm core and comes in pink, purple, blue, orange and yellow, giving it a bright, youthful look.

Strengths

• Reach and leverage. Elongated 42 cm length for deep drives and smashes.
• Balanced face. Raw T700 carbon is neither too stiff nor too soft.
• Comfortable edge. EdgeSoft HR-Foam reduces vibration.
• Secure handle. Boxy shape supports both one- and two-handed shots.
• Bright colours. Five lively finishes.

Weaknesses

• Longer head is slower. Players who rely on quick hand speed may prefer the hybrid HP02.
• Honeycomb limits. Less pop than a foam-core paddle.
• Regional brand. Few international reviews.
• No official list price found.

Who it is for

Intermediate players who want extra reach and a comfortable build, players who like to hit with a long swing from the baseline, and anyone moving from a standard shape to an elongated one without paying for a flagship paddle.
