Selkirk Boomstik Everglade Raw Carbon Pickleball Paddle
4.763.750₫
The Everglade Raw Carbon is a more affordable way into Selkirk’s LABS Project Boomstik range. Instead of the limited-edition artwork found on the flagship releases, it focuses on the core hardware: an elongated shape, a BoomCore core and a three-layer Multistrata T700 raw carbon face. That surface is untreated carbon, which gives a direct feel and plenty of natural grit for topspin, slice and ball control.
Overview
Summary
The Everglade Raw Carbon is a more affordable way into Selkirk’s LABS Project Boomstik range. Instead of the limited-edition artwork found on the flagship releases, it focuses on the core hardware: an elongated shape, a BoomCore core and a three-layer Multistrata T700 raw carbon face. That surface is untreated carbon, which gives a direct feel and plenty of natural grit for topspin, slice and ball control.
The Multistrata T700 face is built from three carbon layers, and the multi-layer approach adds stability and a consistent response. Raw carbon feels crisp and communicative, so you get a clear sense of where the ball meets the paddle. BoomCore supplies the energy, helping the paddle rebound well, reduce vibration and keep the sound of contact solid. It also helps the face stay consistent across its whole area.

Selkirk lists a length of up to 16.5 inches for the elongated shape, which supports extra reach on deep shots, while the 16mm thickness keeps the paddle stable and controllable at the kitchen and on tactical shots. The paddle is available in elongated and widebody forms, and a separate limited-edition Everglade colourway also exists, so check you are ordering the Raw Carbon version.
Strengths
- Lower cost than limited editions. Raw Carbon versions cost much less than the LABS special editions.
- Raw carbon feedback. A direct, communicative feel.
- Three-layer face. Stable response with natural grit.
- BoomCore. Good rebound and vibration control.
- Reach. Elongated shape of up to 16.5 inches.

Weaknesses
- Raw carbon wears. The grit softens over time compared with InfiniGrit surfaces.
- Plain styling. Less eye-catching than limited editions.
- Power-oriented. Less suited to pure touch players.
Who it is for
Intermediate to advanced players who want Selkirk’s Boomstik performance at a lower price, and players who prefer the feel of raw carbon over coated surfaces.
Care and buying tips
Clean the surface regularly so that the raw carbon keeps its bite, and rotate to a backup paddle if you play every day.
On-court tips
Raw carbon wears gradually, so decide how you want to look after it. Clean the face often, use a protective cover and consider keeping a second paddle if you play every day. On court, use the paddle’s reach for deep drives and topspin, and remember that a raw surface gives a very clear sense of contact, which helps you adjust your swing quickly.
