The Pakle FUSE is a lightweight, foam-core paddle that tries to give attacking players speed without losing stability. At only 7.7 oz it is one of the lighter elongated paddles around, and the weight shows in its hand speed. Players can react quickly at the kitchen line, which makes it harder for opponents to keep up, and the lighter mass also reduces fatigue in long matches.
Overview
Summary
The Pakle FUSE is a lightweight, foam-core paddle that tries to give attacking players speed without losing stability. At only 7.7 oz it is one of the lighter elongated paddles around, and the weight shows in its hand speed. Players can react quickly at the kitchen line, which makes it harder for opponents to keep up, and the lighter mass also reduces fatigue in long matches.
Its core system is called TriFusion. Three different foams are fused into a single engine, and each layer has a distinct job: one layer enlarges the sweet spot, another provides a firm and solid feel and the third contributes pop. One of the foams is MPP, known for stability and consistency, which gives a solid and reliable response across the entire face. A specialised carbon fibre layup completes the structure and supports strong energy return and a precise feel.

The elongated shape adds reach and hitting power, which makes the paddle a natural fit for offensive players. It has a 16mm thickness and is offered in three colours: Ember, Vanta and Ion. A hybrid version of the paddle also exists in the range.
For players who want a modern foam build but worry that elongated paddles are too heavy in the hand, the FUSE is an interesting option.
Strengths
- Very light. About 7.7 oz gives fast hands and less fatigue.
- Three-foam core. TriFusion separates sweet spot, feel and pop.
- MPP stability. Consistent response across the face.
- Elongated reach. Good for offensive play.
- Three colours. Ember, Vanta and Ion.

Weaknesses
- Light paddles carry less momentum. Players who like heavy drives may need to add lead tape.
- Newer brand. Fewer long-term reviews than established makers.
- Single thickness. Only 16mm is listed.
Who it is for
Doubles players who like a quick, attacking paddle, players with arm fatigue who want lower weight and intermediate players moving up to a foam build.
Care and buying tips
Consider small amounts of lead tape if you want more power, adding weight in stages. Wipe the face after play and keep the paddle in a cover.
On-court tips
At just 7.7 oz, this paddle moves quickly, but light paddles can feel under-powered on deep drives for some players. If that is your experience, add a few grams of lead tape at the top of the head, one change at a time, and test it for several games. Many players find that a small amount of weight is enough to keep the quick hands and add the drive power they need.
