Summary
The KIVIX MAGIC is Kaiwin’s most ambitious foam paddle, built around a proprietary core design called Foam EdgeLock. The goal is 360 degree stability and the largest possible sweet spot. Instead of one foam, the paddle uses a full multi-material foam structure divided into four functional zones, and each zone has a specific job.
The core zone is a full EPP foam centre, which provides strong bounce, consistent response and structural stability, with an internal dual-rib design to concentrate force and waste less energy. Around it is a closed-loop TPE ring that acts as a vibration filter and structural isolator, absorbing high-frequency shock and softening the EPP so that contact feels smoother and clearer. In the throat, two reinforced EVA blocks provide a rigid base that resists deformation and twisting and acts as a bridge for energy moving from the core to the handle. Finally, a high-density polyurethane foam edge widens the sweet spot, improves stability on off-centre contact, protects the core during hot pressing and reduces shock to the hand.

The face is a three-layer T700 Super Rough carbon, and the mould has been redesigned from scratch. The paddle is a 16mm build in red, pink, blue and purple.
Strengths
- Large, stable sweet spot. Edge foam and throat blocks resist twisting.
- Smooth contact. TPE ring filters high-frequency vibration.
- Efficient energy transfer. Dual-rib EPP centre reduces energy loss.
- Rough carbon face. Three layers support spin and control.
- Modern design. New mould and multi-zone foam structure.

Weaknesses
- Complex terminology. Many technology names can overwhelm new buyers.
- Single thickness. Only 16mm is listed.
- Brand-reported performance. Claims come from the manufacturer.
Who it is for
Intermediate and advanced players who want a stable, modern foam paddle at a competitive price, particularly those who dislike stiff honeycomb construction.
Care and buying tips
Keep the paddle in a cover and avoid prolonged heat. Wipe the face after play with a damp cloth. For retail display, stock all four colours, since the bright finishes help the paddle stand out.
On-court tips
Because this paddle was designed for stability on all sides, try hitting a few deliberately off-centre balls during your first session. You should notice that the face stays calm and that the sweet spot is wider than on many paddles. Use that confidence to take the ball earlier and attack mid-court balls, and keep your wrist firm on blocks so the throat blocks can do their work.
