Summary
The Facolos EliteX v2.0 is a performance paddle that tackles a familiar problem: how to add power without making the paddle twist in your hand. Facolos solves it with an integrated weighting system in the frame. Four mass bars are built into the structure. Two sit near the top of the head to add drive power and widen the sweet spot, and two sit on the sides to raise the twist weight and improve stability on off-centre contact.
The face uses Toray T700 carbon fibre with the brand’s TrueGrit coating, which is designed to create strong spin and keep a stable ball feel as the surface wears. Under the face, a vibration-damping foam layer reduces harsh feedback and helps with volleys and resets, which are the shots where a stiff paddle can feel unforgiving.

The core is the part that gives the paddle its name in the v2.0 update. ELSFoam combines an elastic foam, and Facolos says it increases the sweet spot by about 10% and the swing weight by about 10%. The extra swing weight adds hitting power, and the larger sweet spot keeps that power controllable.
The paddle is offered in a 16mm build and five colourways: Crimson Red, Grey Cloud, Teal Stream, Purple Fusion and Neon Strike.
Strengths
- Stable under power. Side mass bars raise twist weight and resist rotation.
- Bigger sweet spot. The brand claims about 10% more than before.
- Spin-ready surface. T700 carbon with TrueGrit supports topspin and slice.
- Comfort. Damping foam reduces vibration on hard shots.
- Colour choice. Five distinctive colourways.

Weaknesses
- Heavier swing. The increased swing weight can tire the arm in fast exchanges.
- Brand-quoted figures. The 10% numbers are claims, not independent test results.
- Single thickness. Only 16mm is listed.
- Less established abroad. Facolos is stronger regionally than globally.
Who it is for
Intermediate and advanced players who want a paddle with weighty drives but stable contact, including players who find lighter paddles too twitchy.
Care and buying tips
Clean the textured face with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads, which can wear the coating. Check the paddle’s balance before buying more than one, since weighted frames can vary slightly. Confirm which colourways are in stock because popular ones sell out first.
