RPM Q2 Candy Limited Pickleball Paddle

The Q2 was the opening model of RPM’s new Q Series, developed with veteran engineer and paddle reviewer John Kew. It was conceived as a full-foam paddle with a very specific job: to deliver power without sacrificing stability. By adjusting the density, stiffness and bounce characteristics of the foam in different parts of the head, the Q2 gets better twist stability, a wider margin for error and a solid, consistent feel on contact.

Summary
The Q2 was the opening model of RPM’s new Q Series, developed with veteran engineer and paddle reviewer John Kew. It was conceived as a full-foam paddle with a very specific job: to deliver power without sacrificing stability. By adjusting the density, stiffness and bounce characteristics of the foam in different parts of the head, the Q2 gets better twist stability, a wider margin for error and a solid, consistent feel on contact.
The Cotton Candy Limited Edition applies that engineering to a playful candy-inspired colour scheme. The performance is the same as the regular Q2, so you can enjoy a stand-out look without giving up anything on court. The surface is a precision carbon fibre face that supports elite spin and keeps the ball feel steady during intense sessions.
Because the whole paddle is foam, the response is cushioned and quiet compared with a honeycomb paddle, and there is no core to crush over time. The paddle is built to be dependable across a wide range of situations: a firm block when someone attacks, a controlled drop from the transition zone and a punishing drive when you are given a ball you like.
RPM lists 14mm and 16mm builds in its Q2 range. For the general Q2 family, published figures include a 16mm elongated paddle at about 7.8 oz with a swing weight of 114 and a twist weight of 6.1. Check which version the Cotton Candy edition ships in before ordering.
Strengths

Weaknesses
- Limited edition premium. Special editions often cost more than the base Q2.
- Fewer images and specs for the edition. Many listings reuse standard Q2 data.
