The Thunder Typhon 3 is built around a surface and core combination that aims for devastating spin with precise control. The face is Storm Wave Carbon, a textured carbon surface that Thunder says makes serves and slices awkward for opponents while keeping every touch accurate. That balance, strong rotation without losing the feel of the ball, is the main idea behind the paddle.
